Nondestructive Testing – NDT

Texas Commercial Diver’s are certified to perform a number of advanced underwater inspection and testing techniques important for insuring the quality of underwater construction. We have the knowledge, skills, and equipement to perform a variety of inspections to locate and determine the condition of structures, pipes, and components ranging from steel buildings, subsea pipelines and platforms, to engine parts and components.

• TCD is a ABS external accredited specialist. TCD provides in house training at our facility and certifies personnel to level II in the following procedures.
• Magnetic Particle, TCD- MT- 001 , AC Yoke Wet or dry , Visible or florescent medium.
• Visual Inspection VT-001 Subsea ABS visual examination
• Ultrasonic Wall Thickness testing. TCD-UTWT-001, Subsea Ultrasonic wall thickness testing.
